“Annie Are You Okay?” is the question Michael Jackson asked in his hit song “Smooth Criminal” and here is the answer: Annisokay. The “King Of Pop” passed away June 25th 2009 and out of his numerous hits Annisokay chose 4 to honour his legacy. The band stayed true to their trademark sound, raw brutality combined with haunting melodies, and not only covered classics like “Beat It” and “Thriller” but they also included “They Don’t Care About Us” and the Michael Jackson/Janet Jackson duet “Scream”. In this track the clean voice of Christoph Wieczorek is supported by the voice of Kiarely Castillo of Conquer Divide. Also, “Annie Are You Okay?” is the bands first release with their new drummer Nico Vaeen. In the end, the EP contains 4 great coversongs with a new sound, which would even lead the “King Of Pop” to the conclusion that Ann is okay!
